The scoring method is to continuously participate in the competitions held in different countries for the whole year, to assess the ranking of each competition, and to accumulate the scores of each competition, and finally to assess the world championship. The National Team World Motocross Championships are held in only one country each year.

The International Federation of Motorcycles organizes the World Motorcycle Obstacle Inspection Championship once a year, held in 12 countries. The competition and scoring method are the same as the World Motocross Championship.
